Reserving

Choosing & reserving a puppy

  • Find a puppy you love, click Reserve, and fill out the short form with your details and shipping address. Your deposit is collected through Stripe and held for the breeder. The breeder reaches out within 24 hours to coordinate pickup.
  • Some are, some aren't — each litter sets its own policy and we show it on every puppy page. Either way, every reservation has a 72-hour cooling-off period during which you can cancel for a full refund. See our refund policy for the full details.
  • Most breeders welcome a meet-and-greet before you commit, either in person or over a video call. Use the "Ask the breeder a question" button on the puppy page to set one up.
  • Once your deposit is received, your puppy is yours until pickup. We ask that you complete pickup within two weeks of the go-home date listed on the puppy page.
Health

Health, vaccinations, and genetics

  • Every puppy on Pick Me Pets has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, received their first round of vaccinations, and been dewormed. The breeder posts vaccination records and any genetic testing (Embark, OFA, Wisdom Panel) on the puppy's page.
  • Every breeder offers a written health guarantee covering congenital defects identified within a defined window after pickup. Specific terms appear on the puppy's page and in the contract you sign at pickup.
  • Look for the "Genetically clear" badge on the parent cards. Many breeders also link to full Embark, Wisdom Panel, OFA, or Penn HIP results.
Pickup

Pickup, transportation, and delivery

  • Each breeder offers a few options: in-person pickup at the kennel, ground transport, flight nanny, or meet-halfway. The available options are shown on the puppy page; you choose during checkout.
  • The buyer typically pays for transport above and beyond local pickup. Quotes vary by distance and method — the breeder will confirm a price after you reserve.
  • A photo ID, the balance payment in the form the breeder requested, and a carrier or harness for the ride home. The breeder sends a go-home pack with food, vaccination records, and a comfort item from the litter.
Account & support

Account & support

  • An account makes it easier to track your reservation and message the breeder, but you can reserve as a guest. We send a magic link to your email so you can claim the order anytime.
  • You list puppies through the KennelBoss breeder app — they sync to Pick Me Pets automatically once you mark them as ready for the website. Read more for breeders.
